This MCS certified panel is perfect for a wide variety of applications, from grid-tie household systems to off-grid installations where mains power is limited or unavailable such as boats, caravans, campervans, cabins or glamping huts. These high-power panels are ideal for large systems where the time and expense of fitting a high wattage array needs to be minimised.

High efficiency solar cells use PERC technology with 10 busbars to extract more power from a smaller surface area, increasing the output of the panel without increasing the size. The half-cut cell construction decreases internal losses, reduces risk of hotspots and improves performance in shaded conditions.

The robust design of the panel is IP68 (waterproof) rated, and tested for resistance against PID, salt mist, ammonia, heavy snow, dust and sand. This thorough testing ensures a long service life even in harsh marine or wilderness conditions. A pair of male / female MC4 connectors are crimped on the end of the cable for easy waterproof connection to other solar panels, extension leads or your existing system.

With a 15-year workmanship guarantee and 25-year output guarantee, you can be confident in the quality, durability and longevity of this premium solar panel.

The product is covered by a 15 year workmanship warranty provided by Sharp Electronics. Please note: if the application of this solar panel is to charge batteries, it is essential that this solar panel is used with a suitable solar charge controller. We recommend the following types of solar charge controllers:

  • For 12V batteries, a high efficiency MPPT solar charge controller rated at 40A or higher
  • For 24V batteries, a high efficiency MPPT / or standard PWM solar charge controller rated at 20A or higher
