This Photonic Universe 1.44kW 12V Off-grid Solar Power Kit is the perfect ready-to-use kit for off-grid applications requiring a reliable and constant source of power for household appliances or industrial equipment in areas without access to or without stable mains electricity. This kit can provide power to small and medium household or office appliances such as a fridge, TV, radio, lights, computer, hoover, microwave or a kettle, as well as certain high power appliances such as power tools or a washing machine. This may vary significantly according to the location and season.

This complete off-grid kit has been expertly designed to maximise efficiency and output and therefore comes equipped with some of our most premium quality products; including seven powerful Sharp 430W solar panels and a premium 60A 48V Morningstar TriStar™ MPPT solar charge controller with remote LCD digital meter.

The high-quality Morningstar TriStar™ MPPT 30A solar charge controller supports 12V to 48V battery banks and features TrakStar™ Technology, delivering industry-leading maximum power point tracking for optimal energy harvest. With a record-setting 99% peak efficiency, it minimizes power losses and maximizes return on investment while providing robust battery protection, including automatic cut-off to prevent overcharging and deep discharge. Designed for durability and ease of use, it offers extensive protections, advanced communication capabilities for remote monitoring, and a fanless thermal design for reliable performance in high temperatures.

Morningstar TriStar™ remote LCD digital meter:

Morningstar's innovative solar charge controllers and accessories are designed with superior build quality, leveraging years of dedicated research to maximize energy production, extend battery life, and deliver consistent high performance. This remote meter comes with 30m of cable for effortless connection to the RJ-11 port on a TriStar™ controller. Key features include a highly reliable design with a 5-year warranty, an easy-to-navigate backlit LCD display, and multilingual support (English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish). The meter can display individual controller data or aggregate system data for up to 15 linked TriStar™ controllers (via the Morningstar MeterHub, sold separately), providing comprehensive insights into charging parameters like battery voltages, charge priority, and state of charge.

4 x 12V 300Ah AGM Battery Bank:

The advanced 12V 300Ah battery bank included in this kit is comprised of 6 x 2V high quality AGM batteries, complete with metal plate connectors for instant connection. This battery bank features 2V batteries, offering important advantages over battery banks made up of 12V batteries including a longer service life and deeper discharge capability.

Additional items: 

This kit also includes a pair of 3m single-core 10.0mm² battery cable with 40A fuse, a pair of 10m single-core 6.0mm² solar cable, a pair of T-MC4 connectors, and a 40A circuit breaker.

Please note: due to our warehouse arrangements, the solar charge controller and accessories may be shipped from a different warehouse to the solar panel and therefore delivered in a separate package.

The solar panel and batteries are covered by a 1 year workmanship warranty provided by Photonic Universe. The charge controller and remote meter are covered by a 5 year workmanship warranty. We will repair or replace defective items at our discretion. For more information please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years after purchase and at least 80% of nominal power in 25 years after purchase. This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of solar cells.
