This 4kW 48V Complete Solar Power System is the perfect ready-to-use kit for off-grid applications requiring a reliable and constant source of power for household appliances or industrial equipment in areas without access to or without stable mains electricity. This kit can provide power to small, medium and large household or office appliances such as a fridge, TV, radio, lights, computer, hoover, microwave, kettle, power tools, a washing machine or even a small air-conditioning unit. This may vary significantly according to the location and season.

This complete off-grid kit has been expertly designed to maximise efficiency and output and therefore comes equipped with some of our most premium quality products; including nine powerful 440W Sharp solar panels, a 24kW 48V 500Ah battery bank, a state-of-the-art 8kW TBB Power Tyrann inverter charger, and three Morningstar 30A TriStar™ MPPT charge controllers, a meter hub, a ethernet meterbus, a remote meter and a relay driver.

Morningstar HUB-1 meterHub:

The high-quality Morningstar MeterHub connects up to four Morningstar controllers, enabling seamless communication in systems with multiple solar charge controllers on the same battery bank. Additionally, the MeterHub electrically isolates each controller, protecting the network from potential damage caused by grounding issues.

Morningstar EMC-1 ethernet meterbus:

The Morningstar EMC-1 Ethernet MeterBus Converter enables remote access and monitoring of a Morningstar solar charge controller via an Ethernet connection, converting a MeterBus (RJ-11) or RS-232 port into a web-compatible RJ-45 port. The meterbus supports real-time monitoring and remote adjustments through the Morningstar LiveView interface, accessible from any device on the same network or globally via the internet. Designed for convenience, it includes auto-detection of compatible devices, operates in a wide voltage and temperature range, and comes with essential cables and mounting hardware for easy installation.

Morningstar TriStar™ remote LCD digital meter:

Morningstar's innovative solar charge controllers and accessories are designed with superior build quality, leveraging years of dedicated research to maximize energy production, extend battery life, and deliver consistent high performance. This remote meter comes with 30m of cable for effortless connection to the RJ-11 port on a TriStar™ controller. Key features include a highly reliable design with a 5-year warranty, an easy-to-navigate backlit LCD display, and multilingual support (English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish). The meter can display individual controller data or aggregate system data for up to 15 linked TriStar™ controllers (via the Morningstar MeterHub, sold separately), providing comprehensive insights into charging parameters like battery voltages, charge priority, and state of charge.

24kWh 48V 500Ah AGM battery bank:

The advanced 48V 500Ah battery bank included in this kit is comprised of 24 x 2V high quality AGM batteries, complete with metal plate connectors for instant connection. This battery bank features 2V batteries, offering important advantages over battery banks made up of 12V batteries including a longer service life and deeper discharge capability.

Please note: due to our warehouse arrangements, the kit accessories may be shipped from a different warehouse to the solar panels, hybrid inverter, and battery bank, and therefore delivered in a separate package.

The batteries are covered by a 1 year warranty provided by Photonic Universe. In the unlikely event that a defect is found and confirmed during this period, we guarantee that we will repair or replace defective items (at our discretion). The Morningstar products and TBB Power inverter are covered by a 5 year manufacturer warranty. For more information please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

The panels are covered by up to a 25-year product guarantee provided by Sharp Electronics. In addition, solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 98% of nominal power in the first year after purchase and less than 0.54% degradation of nominal power each year after until 25 years after purchase, for a minimim of 85%.
