Testimonials:

There is nothing on this item that falls short of my expectation, even a functional protective bag and a spring loaded, fold flat carry handle, great!

This high quality, brand new 20A 12V/24V dual battery solar charge controller with LCD display is designed to charge and protect 2 batteries simultaneously, having automatic cut off to prevent over-charging. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of your batteries. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity.

This is a perfect solar controller for a caravan, motorhome, boat or another system with 2 independent batteries or battery banks (e.g. engine and leisure battery). You can set the initial charging priority e.g. 80% of power to go to the engine battery and 20% to leisure battery. When one of the batteries is fully charged the controller will automatically divert all power to the other battery.

Can the unit work with only 1 battery? Yes, absolutely! The controller will determine automatically if there's only 1 battery connected and will pass 100% of charging current to this battery. You can add a second battery later.

This controller can work with solar panels with combined power up to 320W (12V batteries) / 640W (24V batteries). Controller has many protection functions, such as stopping reverse current at night (from the battery back to the solar panel), over charge, short circuit, reverse polarity etc. Other features include various LED indicators, battery type selection (sealed, gel, flooded) and a built-in temperature sensor.

The controller comes with a remote LCD display / meter which is connected via 10m cable (included). The remote meter can display various charging parameters such as battery and solar panel voltage, current, state of charge of batteries etc. It can also record the accumulated battery charge and min / max voltage for each of the 2 batteries.

Temperature and time can also be displayed on the meter screen. The unit can be set to go through each data parameter and change every 3 seconds or display only the chosen set of data. 4 buttons on the front panel of the meter allow you to easily switch between the data sets.
