The Multi RS19 Solar 48/6000/100-450/100 230V intelligently combines the functions of a powerful 6000VA 48V pure sine wave inverter, a sophisticated 100A battery charger and two independent 3kW MPPT solar charge controllers with up to 450V DC input in a single unit. Designed specifically for installation in a standard 19-inch equipment or battery rack, this model provides a compact, space-efficient solution for advanced solar and energy storage systems.

With a combined maximum solar input capacity of 6kWp, the Multi RS19 Solar is suitable for both grid-connected and off-grid applications. Its high-frequency technology delivers excellent conversion efficiency in a lightweight, quiet package with low standby power consumption. The integrated inverter, battery charger and dual MPPT trackers also reduce the number of separate components and associated cabling required, simplifying installation and system maintenance.

This inverter-charger also offers the ability to power AC appliances directly from solar energy without a battery connection, allowing you to establish a solar power system initially and add battery storage at a later stage.

Key functions:

1. 6000VA 48V pure sine wave inverter: Converts DC battery or solar power into 230V AC electricity to supply a wide range of household and professional equipment. Its pure sine wave output is suitable for sensitive electronics and other compatible electrical appliances, while its high-frequency design provides efficient power conversion in a lightweight unit.

2. 100A smart battery charger: The integrated battery charger provides charging for compatible 48V battery banks, helping to maintain battery charge and support efficient energy storage. Charging parameters can be configured to suit supported battery types and system requirements.

3. Two independent 3kW MPPT solar trackers up to 450V: The integrated dual MPPT design provides a combined maximum solar input capacity of 6000W, with each tracker supporting up to 3000W of PV input and a DC operating input range of 65–450V. The two independent trackers allow separate solar panel strings to operate at their respective maximum power points, providing flexibility when designing arrays with different orientations or shading conditions.

4. 19-inch rack-mount design: Unlike the standard Multi RS Solar, the Multi RS19 Solar is designed to fit into a standard 19-inch rack. This makes it particularly suitable for installations where space, component organisation and a neat, integrated equipment layout are important, including battery rack systems, commercial installations and dedicated energy storage cabinets.

5. Flexible grid-connected and off-grid operation: The Multi RS19 Solar can be configured for different system requirements, from off-grid power supplies to hybrid installations combining solar generation, batteries and an AC power source. It can also operate without a battery connection, allowing a system to be expanded with battery storage at a later stage. Grid-connected operation and export functionality are subject to applicable local regulations, grid-code requirements and inverter approval.

Additional intelligent features:

In addition to the above, the Multi RS19 Solar offers a range of intelligent features and configurable operating modes to support different installation requirements.

• Dynamic ESS: When configured with compatible Victron GX equipment and supported system components, the Multi RS19 Solar can be used in a Dynamic Energy Storage System (ESS). This enables intelligent management of solar generation, battery charging and discharging, and energy consumption according to the configured system strategy.

• PowerControl: Allows the maximum AC input current to be limited, helping prevent an AC supply, such as a generator or shore power connection, from being overloaded. The inverter prioritises power for connected AC loads, using available capacity to charge the batteries where possible.

• PowerAssist: Supplements a limited AC power supply with additional power from the battery when connected loads exceed the available AC input capacity. When demand decreases, available AC power can be used to recharge the battery.

• Extendable solar capacity: The integrated 6kWp PV capacity can be supplemented with additional compatible solar chargers or AC-coupled PV inverters. When configured appropriately, the Multi RS Solar uses frequency-shift power control to manage the output of compatible AC-coupled solar inverters, allowing additional solar generation to be integrated into the system.

• Battery-free solar operation: The Multi RS19 Solar can be used as a direct solar-to-AC power solution without an initial battery installation, subject to the operating conditions and configuration requirements. This allows battery storage to be added later as energy requirements change.

• Remote monitoring and control: The integrated display and VictronConnect app allow system parameters to be monitored and historical performance trends to be reviewed. When connected to a compatible GX device, such as the Cerbo GX MK2, the system can also be monitored and controlled locally or remotely through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. Depending on the configuration, advanced functions can include zero-export control and backup power for critical loads during grid outages.

• Parallel and three-phase operation: Compatible Multi RS units can be configured in parallel to increase available power or arranged in a three-phase configuration, subject to the manufacturer's installation requirements and supported system configuration.

• Integrated safety protection: Built-in protection functions help safeguard the system against conditions such as overload, output short circuit, battery overvoltage and undervoltage, overheating and excessive DC input voltage ripple.

The Victron Energy Multi RS19 Solar 48/6000/100-450/100 230V is a versatile, rack-mount inverter-charger designed for compact, high-performance solar and energy storage installations. Combining a 6kVA inverter, 100A battery charger and 6kWp of dual-tracker solar charging in one unit, it is particularly well suited to advanced off-grid systems, battery storage installations and compatible hybrid energy applications.

Important UK grid connection note: Before using this product in a grid-connected installation in the UK, confirm its current G99/G98 or other applicable grid connection approval status with Victron Energy and the relevant Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
